Born and raised in Long Island, NY, I always followed a path of my own creation. For me, captivation laid in the hands of my surroundings and fueled a habit of people watching and later, an addiction of role playing. My Aunt Sylvia use to call me a “character” growing up, so there was no surprise amoung my family when I got into theatre. It rapidly became a public passion of mine while writing flew under the radar. Ever since I can remember my mother use to make my brother and I write in a journal before going to bed, a bothersome task we often would argue, but in actuality, was foreshadowing a blessing I later would appreciate. For years I’ve kept a journal, each responsible for a different part of myself:
Now as a senior assignment at my University, I was challenged by a professor to create a blog, so as a homework assignment I started this page. And since writing and I are well acquainted, I was confident in my ability to fulfill the assignment accordingly, however was not prepared for how the assignment would fulfill me. This blog has become more than just an easy A; Whats-Her-Face has re-birthed my love for writing from off the page to the keyboard. Now my thoughts, fears, perspectives, and everything in between can be shared on a public platform, and if I could hope for anything to come from these words on a screen, it is that people can enjoy them, and if not, at least appreciate them for what their worth.
